Just to clarify, this contest ends on Sunday night, correct?

I know the official post says the 31st, but I think Elderon posted on Tuesday that it ended in 4 days, which doesn't add up. Any confirmation on this?

It depends on the timezone. With my settings he posted at wednesday. And also the deadline was set to sunday midnight at central european timezone. Got it ?

Ahh, well it was tuesday night for me (est zone), but that would explain it if he posted it on wednesday. So I guess that'd figure up to about 4:00 p.m. est on Sunday for myself. Thanks for the clarification!

Local Challenge Entry: Strengthening the Border



March 24,

"In response to the threat of war, the king of Lenfald has declared that we fortify our borders in preparation for the storm. Every day the Loreesi grow nearer to our forests as they continue their aggressive expansion. During my own journey, I noticed several Lenfeld workers erecting great towers near the riverbanks. I have no doubt these will be of great use in the times to come, however, without a strong camp to rally and stage counterattacks from, I fear we will be left in total disarray. For this reason, I am aiding in the construction of a military encampment built near the Aines river. They call it Ainherlaf, meaning River-War. Though I hope it will not come to this, if war does engulf Lenfald, this camp will be a bastion against any assailing force."

The City of Karemdhâron prepares for war - A new wall and gate close the gap between the Wandering Woods in the south and the Lonely Peak in the north. Any invasion by land from Garheim will stop at the wall.

Ok, I gave everybody a little extra time, but the LC is now closed. No more entries, I'll get to judging probably tomorrow.

I finally finished my trilogie and fortfied Lenfald ! This build is my first Freebuild for April.

The action going on, the build itself, the story and interaction between the figs is just brilliant in my eyes. Everything just fits. The landscaping itself is superb and every time I looked at it again to make sure I picked the right winner, I saw a different and new detail that just adds up to a near perfect build! Great Job!

Thanks everybody for the entries, and it was really difficult to judge. The amount of high quality builds were just amazing and to be honest I'm still doubting. But I'm pretty sure I made the right decision

I am really happy about your decision. When I saw Caelen's entry I have been really impressed, and I was sure my aim could only be to get the 2nd place. His building is extremly detailed and I especially love the posing, so he is the right one for being the Great Defender of Lenfald. Finally I am really glad to reach my personal goal.

The LC was a tremendous success. We had a lot of high class buildings, the story was cool and I had a lot of fun participating.

When will there be the next LC ?
