Hoarfrost Stronghold by (Yorick) Will Hafner, on Flickr
The Stronghold of Hoarfrost is said to be over a thousand years old, and was build by the first men that dared to venture into the untamed northern lands of Roawia. Although this fortress is little more than a guard tower, it's presence is enough to scare off any bandits and thieves, and keep them away from the local village of Hoarfrost. Yorick's father is Jenvald Wolfsbane the captain in charge of the village, and the stronghold. Yorick liked to hang out in the tower; he would clean the armor for the soldiers and sharpen their blades in exchange for some lessons on how to wield a sword. When he was only a lad, Yorick's dad told him that he shouldn't meddle with Yeti's but he didn't believe that they even existed. While he was in a tavern, he overheard some local trappers sharing stories about the local wildlife, and one of them mentioned a valley were a large Yeti would take the animals out of the traps. He wanted to see if Yetis existed, so he went to the valley...

Keep up the good work, guys! We need to make sure that we have several Unrestricted-sized MOCs to choose from for the GC6 final, because we are going to be up against some stiff competition from the other factions, based on a few of the entries I've seen so far.

I'm actually working on an unrestricted Moc, and I think I will be able to post it before the deadline. And I'm going to post a restricted Moc this week

I am also working on my unrestricted entry.

We have a few in the 8x8, but if you'd like to build one, your entry would be welcome. It will earn our faction 1 global point if you do!

great! Ill see if i can use my dad's collection; i would be able to make stuff for al the categories, and get lots of points for Garheim!

I do my best to keep that section current with whatever challenges are currently running, both Global Challenges and Local Challenges, FYI

Probably after the GC is finished. I want everyone to focus on entering all 3 categories for the GC, if possible. I will be entering the 8x8 and restricted, at least.
