I haven't even been able to afford to buy but one of the cheapest sets from the 2007 Castle line, and I got the catapult as a gift...

I need to charge you people a tax or something. :P

I love this set. Some people think of it as too "spacey" and open. Think of it as pillars hoding up rocks and it makes sense. The whole setting is inside a cave.

Absolutely love the new helms (especially without the wings. Those things are the best made by Lego ever). The goblins are cool and the troll is useless... sigh. Well, actually the troll can be made to pull carts and stuff. I think that is what he was designed for.

Looking forward to more.

I hope that this appears in real life in the UK at some point. I haven't seen any 2007 castle on the shelves anywhere near me, it's all been exo-force and mars mission.

:x

Not to mention paying double the price of you guys in the states.

Just as well I can concentrate on increasing my collection of 6080s from fleabay.

Bad news - three of the sets - King's Castle Siege, Skeleton Tower, and Prisoner Carriage are exclusive to Argos of all places. I don't know about in the UK - but here in Ireland I haven't seen the other Castle '07 sets on shelves at all at all. I bought the Complete Castle Collection off S@H to get great value despite the shipping.

I'm expecting to have to get Dwarves Mining off S@H or ebay, or possibly if I get to Germany and it's available there (I shall be bringing a large lightly packed suitcase if I go there for a trip, in anticipation of possible Lego purchases).

evilnailman and Brickzone I share some of your pain

Although In Australia the Lego catalogue shows that the kings castle seige and drwarfs mine will be on shelfs in November.

Some of the US bricklink stores would be a cheaper option for me to purchase Kings castle seige right now, then the RRP using LEGO shop at home right.

I saw the other night that drwarfs mine inventory was partially up on bricklink.

I hope I will be opening one of these sets on Christmas Day.

Finally got it. Great set. Can't say much for the model, but it has a lot of nice bricks and hardly any technic stuff. The figures are great too. Glad to have finally found it.

Checked at my local Target and they didn't have it... went home a little mad and ordered off of S@H instead... I'm about to die of excitement!

Yes, in a way, I'm hoping it doesn't appear on S@H for Ireland/Europe before it appears in shops here! Because if it does, I'll have to get it, shipping notwithstanding.

Maybe it'll appear in a new collection with the 2008 sets in the new year. That would be great too even if I don't really want to wait that long.

Finally picked one up myself yesterday, but I won't be able to open it up and play with it for some time, the attic is a total mess from sorting all my stuff into my new Lego table!
But I did grab the loose 'Gold Winged Helmet' out just to see if it was in there and stuck it on some random mini-fig I had laying around :)

Lord Doom, you wish to bring Doom upon me, don't you!
The wife would lop my head off if the Lego mess migrated downstairs! She dislikes it enough when it migrates to rooms on the 2nd floor!

Doom! Doom I say!

p.s. - May I add that when I bought it, I got the dreaded "Do you need a gift-receipt with that?" My reply "NO! MINE!"

Funny, I usually ask for a gift reciept with my Lego purchases, just to avoid the quizzical glances of others

Its an age thing for me. When I buy Lego I just don't care what others think. I'm very public with my Lego hobby anymore.
