I'm planning to. Of course, real life occasionally gets in the way, like this year. I normally run it from the last week of February to April 5th.

It`s not much to eleborate Josh.
SlyOwl`s entry was for me an epic MOC, epic battle and epic win. I can`t understand how this entry couldn`t win ?
But it`s your contest and you are one and only judge.

You put it out, it is Josh's contest, so he choose the winner. You prefered SlyOwl's entry. It was well-built, a lot of Figs and action and comparatively big sized. Maybe that was the "mistake". If you have a big baseplate you have to fill it. A bag full of Orcs is the one, but Figplacement and compensation of action at the whole area is the other .

I think foresti hits this perfect:

• well-built
• action in every corner
• funny highlights
• good fotos
• perfect balance between size and Minifigs

That was the only minor thing I dislike at DNL's entry. To much Minifigs in the crowd at the center. (Don't worry DNL, it's minor. I don't want to flay you.)

Congratz to the winners. I also think Slyowls entry deserved a price, but its Joshs contest.

I am going to step into this thread to congratulate the winners, as they should rightly be congratulated. Nice job.

But I'm also here to remind several of you of this post on Common Courtesy for contest:

I understand that you may not agree with the decisions, but please be polite and mindful of the fact that a judge picked these winners, a judge who ran this contest and donated these prizes out of his generosity. AND the people who did win deserve to be treated as winners and not brushed aside, for they truly did win.

Thanks for pointing that out, Blue. And thanks to Josh, as always, for running a great contest. Congrats to the winners. The hooligan brawl is quite funny with all the little set pieces inside the crowd. My favorite bit is the good wizard yanking the helmet off of a soldier and the two disgruntled contestants leaving the field as the battle in the stands overshadows their contest. DNL's is full of details and I have to say the fig posing is perfect. My favorite may be the guy shoving furniture in front of his door to keep out the invaders, or the jester joining the archers and throwing tomatoes. Some great build details, too, like the use of stickshifts. In the defense of the iron oak, that tree is epic. My only complaint on that one is I think the ground is too varied in color and it obscures the action going on. The one stud vignette was a really clever idea and well executed.
And congrats to all of the entrants. There were a large number of outstanding MOCs. I've judged a lot of contests and know how tough it can be to choose between them - great job, all!

Congratulations to winners and non-winners. Plenty of great MOCs in this contest.

Congrats to all winners! All of the entries were awesome, and the winners truly deserved it. In my opinion, the third place winner SuvieD was my favorite, just because of the awesome depiction of the magic spells (the use of the trans-neon-green helicoptor blades just blew me away). A good use of magic goes a long way for me.

Once again, congrats to all the winners; and to those who didn't win: congrats anyway. You all did an awesome job.

I hope to see even more amazing MOC's and vig next year, (and I hope that next year I'll get off my lazy butt and actually enter). Until then, may the bricks be with you.
