Hello,

I accidentally clicked submit on my entry. I was going to put my entry under miscellaneous, but it was put under Hidden Treasure. It's a Japanese Garden which definitely does not fit with the category. Could I possibly change it to that?
Everything is awesome!

I found that when i tried to submit an entry in Firefox, it didn't work. So I tried in Chrome and it was working fine.

Just in case anybody else is having similar problems, I would advice them to do the same.

I have a question about the knights quest category: Can the single picture for each moc be cropped or taken in a way so as to not show the entire moc, mostly the base?

I was thinking about doing a set of forced perspective shots, but they would not prove the overall size of the moc nor would it show all the details from a top or wide view. If it is not possible, I will come up with another idea, thanks!

When you are entering, the last space is for Link. Do you want a link to the set/folder? If so do all the photos in the set/folder have to be sized down to fit the requirements?

51 - If you have a mistake such as this, you could simply enter a second time. The admins will see that there is a duplicate and will delete the one in the wrong category. Alternatively you could PM one of the admins and we will change it. For the record, this one has been fixed.

52 - That sounds fine. If there is a question of whether it fits the size requirements, you could show me or another admin an overhead shot that shows the dimensions. That image will not be part of the judging.

53 - Yes, that should link to a folder with three (or less) images, all of which fit the size requirements.

Two quick notes:
On Flickr, the original size image should fit the requirements. It is NOT enough that Flickr resizes things and gives you options to see smaller images.

Also on Flickr - if, like me, you are too cheap to buy a pro account and can only make a limited number of sets, there is a trick to work around this. Simply give each of your three images for an entry a unique tag, and then for your link you give the connection to the images with that tag.

I am wanting to join this contest, but through every thread I've read on it, I must be missing the simplest details... what ARE the actual categories I can put entries in?

As given in the announcement that started this thread, and also on the main CC page, the categories and prizes are here and general contest rules are here. You submit your entries here and can see others' entries here.

OH okay, the category name is above the reward set's name. Gotcha. No category for a house? :(

You could include a trap door leading to a secret room in your house for the Hidden Treasure category. A group of brigands could be stealing the family silver from the house in the Bandits' Raid category. Perhaps a kind knight is delivering alms to a poor family living in the house as part of the Knight's Quest category. A small home in the country could be the dwelling place of a lone mystic in the Hermit's Hovel category. The inhabitants of your house could be holding a celebration as part of the Medieval Holiday category. A dragon could be swooping down on the house and incinerating the inhabitants and eating their cow in the Mythical Creature category. Failing all of those, you could always just default to using the Miscellaneous category, which is for all other creations.

If I build two creations for one category, both will matter in choose the Master Builder?
When I submit an entry, can I give Flickr photo to Image 1 and Brickshelf gallery?

Thanks for your attention,

54 You must enter at least six separate categories to be eligible for the Master Builder prize, but you may certainly submit more MOCs, including two per category. As described in the rules, your overall top six will be considered in judging for the Master Builder.
Lolino wrote: When I submit an entry, can I give Flickr photo to Image 1 and Brickshelf gallery?
55 Sure, but the image on Flickr must be the same as one of the three in your Brickshelf gallery (i.e., this cannot be a way to enter four images), so I don't know what this gains you.

I'm having some difficulty with the Submit an Entry page....just gives me a 404 error? Is that just temporary or is there a new link?

the link from the Rules and Information page to the entry page is giving me a 404, but I can get to it from the
Categories and Prizes page.
