Sorry if this is rude or inappropriate, but why has this topic become so big? Sure, it's great that LF is back, but do we really need three pages of posts to do it in? :?

Probably not. :)
I have been friends with most of the people who responded, friends that I have chatted with, exchanged jokes and Lego with, came up with new ways to build with. I've known them for four plus years. I am grateful for the responses, and am amazed at the way the community has grown. I suppose I could have asked for PM's but it didn't occur to me that someone would be bugged by numerous posts....

'course.. no one forced you to read them.

I'm sorry; I didn't mean to offend you.

I wasn't bugged by it. I was just puzzled as to why there are MoCs and stories that are there for a few days with just a few comments and yet this thread attracted over two pages of attention for over a week since it was posted. Sure, it's great you're back, and I'm sorry for screwing things up.

If it's any consolation, Matt, if you ever leave for the better part of a year and come back, you'll probably get more replies than the average MOC yourself. Consider if you will that Classic-Castle is a "LEGO Community", and while the LEGO part is certainly important, the Community part is too.

I do understand what you mean (like when I have written some five pages and illustrated it with MOCs and some photoediting and I get one reply :P) but on the other hand Freak has been here for a very long time and he has done a LOT of great things and made many friends. It´s not like the average Joe would get this kind of welcome..

And as Formendacil pointed out, this is a community after all

And having this kind of community and seeing that a great guy as Freak is back is more important to me than how many replies my stories get ;)

I'll come in really late and add to the hoopla. Welcome back, Freak! You've really been missed. I've been extremely busy myself, which is why I didn't even see this thread until now. It's great to see you again. Can't wait to see some Freakish MOCs!
