Hey all,

Dellta has posted a unique fantasy castle with two faces:

I don't like it... way too creepy (reminds me of that termite commercial with the talking house, which also creeps me out).

Beyond the overall creepiness, it looks pretty cool.

Its not really my style, and I agree with Athos that it is creepy. It is an interesting and unqiue--rather than the skull head on the castle, we have cloud like faces. I also liked the technique used for the stair case up the side of the castle.

It's creepy and it's cooky mysterious and spooky it's altogether ooky the um, creepy face castle thingy. Well the person obviously put a great deal of work into this MOC. The building style is well done and refined, it's just that the subject matter seems decidedly mornful, the faces look realy depressing. I think that if the person used the same technique the castle would be very cool if only the facews were less mournful, if it was a dragon head or something it would be even cooler.

I really like the look of this, and the idea's quite interesting. The only thing I don't like is that this wouldn't stand up to a siege at all.

Hmm, well however creep and however many foks don't like it I think it's very well-made!!! If it's getting this kind of reaction you know the creator had to have done something right. It's not often a LEGO MOC can actually freak people out, so its a great job to the creator!

I think that it is creepy, and dare I say jibbly. However, if ever I saw a jibbly teeming with quality and artistic mastery, then it's here. Besides the creepy face, architectural details such as the stairs and the overall facade really make it a quality MOC.

Too creepy for me. I think he should take the face off. Its a creative style, but there is something as too creative.

Very interesting. Quite an impressive amount of scope to plan and build something like this. The colour really adds to it's oddness too. Sure it's weird but the vision is quite impressive. I don't think this was meant as a castle MOC, probably more of a display piece actually. I wouldn't say I love it, but it is very impressive. It "speaks" to me ;) ...sorry

There is a certain jibbliness factor at play here, isn't there? Overall I would say it could benefit from a visit by a Feung Siue master. (Pronounced "Fung Schway" I know what it means, but not how to spell it D'oh!)

This is something I never would have thought to do myself. The faces are rather plain, and two of them is kinda odd. One only, or one on each side I say. I'm pretty ambivilent aren't I? I think I would have liked it if there was only 1 face, and if it were more, well, integrated. By that I mean the face played a role in the architecture of the fort. I would also like to see something like this be more subtle, like making it visible from one angle, or with the light at a certain angle. It is rater unsettling though, and perhaps that was the goal. If so, mission accomplished.

It's a wonderful idea, but excecuted rather... poorly, I think. The faces are good, but there's so much room for more detail in them, especially considering SNOT. I'm not saying I could do better, but I'd love to see what an expert brick sculptor could do with this.

Feng Shui.

Anyway, that has to be one of the coolest ideas I have seen, but unfortunately it isn't as well executed I think. The rest of the castle except the faces look really good though, I just think she/he have to work a bit more on the faces themselves.

Thank you for the Feng Shui assist. Also, I think you hit the nail on the head about this MOC. Idea: good. Execution: not so much.

Um, it is detailed. But how did the faces get there?
