I do not think that it is overpriced. The price per element is 9.6 cents (US). This is around the average 10 cents per element in regular sets. Judging previous SW sets, you could easily sell the five minifigures for $75 or more on ebay. Then your price per piece would be 8.2 cents. This is indeed a great looking Lego set. But like most of us I can not afford to buy it at this stage of my life.
