Project Question-Mark (Updated: Day 3+4+5)

I was sitting aorund in my room yesterday... School (10th year) just started, already an essay, a test, and 2 speeches coming up.
However, I didn't feeling like working on any of them yet, the esaay's a week due, the test subject was pretty easy I thought, and the speeches were in 2 weeks.
So, I started to fiddle around with with my LEGOs, since I haven't had a chance to build with them recently.

No forethought was planned. I just kept on building without any future vision of this model, so I don't even no what it's going to be like.
I guess I'm going to make this like into a diary of its progression, updating it daily or once in two or three days with photos.

So, I hope you enjoy how this works out, and hope that model actually get's finished!

Day 1:
Experiemented with Hinge Bricks. Then tried to create a studless base with it.
I got this: 1, 2

So then I wondered how I would use those 4 holes. I tried everything I could think of, minifig arms, technic pins, small wheels, etc.
But, nothing would work... I was about to give up on this thing (no seriously, I was) when my eyes went to a 1x1 round stud... and it fit.
Why didn't I try this before, I don't know, but it fit perfectly.
3

So then, I wondered what I could add on it.

Jets. :)

4

And that's where I am right now. I first tried for a spacey thing with the jets, but I sorta wanted to try something new.
It could be a building, a mecha, a fort, a castle, a tower, who knows...

I guess I would make the jet-side of the base the underside of this model, and make it like a hover thing... hmmm :?

Any thoughts, comments, criticisms, advices would be welcome!

Day 2:
Well, I wasn't going for a Space MOC, and you just can't have jets on a Castle. Wild West, Adventurers, Aqua Raiders, Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends, I went through most of the themes to see what I could do with this... thing.

But, none of them seemed to fit.

So I started to build a wall. Not that fancy, just some 1x2 light grey bricks made into a box.

So now what.

Well, I listen to music when building, and when I was searching for an idea, a singer named Mai Kuraki came up on my iPod (shuffle mode). She's japanese , and most of her songs are about either love, peace, or songs that makes you energized! Anyway, while listen to her, I started to think about what this model's gonna be about. You know, war, love, despair, vindicitveness, or just "lookin'-cool"

And listening to her, I went for the love of our world bit.
And I also remembered some Post-Apoc MOCs which have become a popular theme lately, and decided I would incorporate a bit of that.
So I 'destroyed' the walls.

So it became a part of a wrecked building.

But that alone is boring! And it has to be about Love And Peace!

So, for that monotone floor, I decided to include an epitome of love.
What is that epitome? Well, you can see for your self.

Yeah, a rose.

So we know one thing for sure now.
This model's a building (not sure what type) and it's about Loving our World. (sry you SF-freaks)

Cute! I love the rose stem and I'm jealous of those lightbley cheese slopes. Good wrecked walls too!

Very nice. I really like the design of the walls and the jets are awesome.

The message is great too. ;)

Day 3:
Weekday! Pretty busy, can't work on this model as much as I can on the weekends.

But I made the 2nd floor, I tried for Spiral stairs but couldn't fit within the 8x8 limit. So I used a ladder! :D
But anyway, yeah, I made a second floor, nothing on it yet, only two pillars ehich survived during the attack (backstory! :o )
12, 13, 14, 15

Day 4: Absolutely no time to work on it

Day 5: Got rid of pillars, want to do something more interesting.
Minifigs! Yes, that's right, I added two minfigs. Whether they will remain in the model I have no clue. :)

Nice progress :) With the rose above the gate, the book "1984" popped into my mind. It could be the "Department of Love"'s building, who knows? :)

Very cool TsoAutTmo. Not only does the creation itself have a couple of cool ideas, but your methood of building it rocks! This truly is one of the best ways to build Lego.
