Video: Classic-Town Town - Updated!

Post by Dr. J »

Hello, everyone!

As you might know, I'm getting pretty big on the area of Classic-Town, the theme filled with everyday LEGO minifig lives.

I built a town, which is definetly not the best ever made, just the best I've ever made.

I think my weakest part is the buildings... I need to practice at them.

Without further ado, here's the video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR6dk8dEAFY

Please tell me what you think, although I don't think I'll be able to make any updates.

Okay, so I lied... Scroll down to see the update.

Very nice! Good construction all around, especially all the modular buildings. I love the farm equipment, and your post-apoc moc is off to a great start. Nice job! I also love your storage method.

Really nice Tire swing there.

And that entire bit with the horse was a setup to show just how big your collection was, wasn't it. [/cynicism]

Tales of Aramia may update one day.

I like the way the road makes that big S at the beginning. I also like the way the buildings are stackably modular. I feel like your buildings should be bigger, but then the overall size of the town would have to be smaller. As far as the farm goes, try arranging your crops in rows using brown 2 x X plates underneath them for a more realistic look. As was already mentioned, that farm equipment is awesome. There is nice attention to detail throughout the whole deal.

Is that table a custom made thing, lego specific, or just some random table?

The table was made by a company called Nilo. They also had 4 green boards that cover the whole table. On one side of the boards are studs made for LEGO, and on the other side are Duplo studs.

And thanks for your thoughts!

Nice video again :) I pretty much agree with the above posts. I happen to be working on a town scene myself at the moment but it's far from done.

Is that your voice?

I like the buildings for the most part. Pretty cool!

Yes, and thanks!

And yes, that is Ronald McDonald- I've never known anyone who is/used to be afraid of him. The life size statue that they put on benches around McDonalds stores still creep me out.
