It's hard to see what you've built there because of the photos.

It looks like your camera can focus well, its just not focused on the right things. Unless what you are presenting is a doorknob, a chair, a centerpiece, a sign that seems to be pointing towards a pool, and that centerpiece again :-P

I have a feeling that if you pull the camera back away from the LEGO, you'll get way better pictures, so than we can comment on what you built, not how you photoed.

Always stay in focus. That is key. The next most important thing to do is make sure you lighting is correct. Try to photograph on a white background, that will help. Tape a shiny white board to the wall, and you will get good lighting as well.

I think the problem is my camera doesn't have an option to take pictures of small objects. It only has an option for portrait, landscape, and self portrait. If it does have a macro option I just haven't found it yet.

Hey,

My old camera didn't have a macro feature. It will help if you step back further away from the MOC. Take the pic from a couple of feet away, then use Gimp to crop away the empty space around the outside of the photo.

A few steps back should help it focus, if your using a small handheld.

Flash can be unattractive but poor lighting can cause blur - the cameras shutter has to remain open longer to take in light thus if you don't have a steady hand - blur.

I would suggest getting a tripod or a stronger light source. It really improves photography in terms of clearity.
