Republic Gunship

I always wanted to get a Republic Gunship but those things sell for around 200$ on EBay..So I made my own with Lego Designer. It is almost complete apart fromthe engines. The price is 92$ should I order or not?

The wings are adjustable, so is the cockpit. I put in laser guns instead of the bubbles on the sides, and substituted two guns in the front with one.

might be cheaper to get a parts list and buy the parts needed on BL or such.

Study the instructions and build your own as a MOC. It could be better than the official LEGO version.

Unless you really like the design, I wouldn't. To me, that actually doesn't look all that great, mainly because it seems to be mostly black and white. I don't think that it is worth 92 dollars. I would get a piece listing for the official set on Peeron or Bricklink, and check on prices for how much it would cost to buy them all. If it would be more then get this one. If less, then don't.

Thanks for the tip. I got most of the part for under $70 on BL with colors matching the original design. I'll post pics when I put it together.

Ok I got all the parts and build it according with Lego instructions..what do you think?

That is very nice. I've been wanting to build that and have most of the parts, but I'm missing "30639 - Container 4 x 4 x 4 with 1 Finger on Each Side" in white. I can't seem to find it anywhere on BL.
Were you able to get that piece or did you sub different parts?

Thanks. I actually got that part in dark gray. As you can tell I subbed some parts for different colors but overall the color scheme is close enough.
