custom bows

Does anyone have pics of custom bows or instructions on making them? I'm making a weapons gallery and i don't have many custom weapons for it :evil:

I have one on my website and Blasterman has made a futuristic crossbow (Chewie's crossbow from Starwars) on his site. That's about the only 2 that I know of. If you do a search on brickshelf, however, you'll probably find a ballista or two there.

I have a crossbow that's nearly done. It's not really too much different from Lego's, except that it's handmade, of course. The main problem is that I can't get the paint to stay on it in a minifig's hands. I may post it anyway, soon.

You may want to cut down on the emoticons there, they take too long to load. Try using only 1 or 2 per message.
Try searching it on google, you may get some results.

Well now, do you think that help Rubber Chicken at all? Please try not to post things so pointless in the future.

As for custom bows, try cutting the arrow off the standard LEGO bow with a hobby knife.

(cause most of you who know me well also know I'm a night owl)

This first one is a custom, using a ninja horn cut in two and a chrome light sabre handle. This design is also one that I cannot take credit for, nor do I know who first came up with it:

I apologize for the itty bittyness of the bow in the picture, this was the best image of it I could find.

And this second one is just a light grey light sabre handle and two pistols.

As savaaggie said i'm to lazy to even find the pic. But here is an explanation. A lightsaber handle and two destroyer droid legs(the ones that clp). Y a put the legs into the lightsaber handle. Sorry for no pics.

You also can take a small pole, and attach two of count Dukoo's litsabers to them.
