Pondering lego life

Hi everyone,

As you all may (or may have not) noticed I haven't been around a lot lately. New job, moving cities, smaller house have left me with little time or room for Lego.

Sooo. (sigh) I have made the hard decision to sell off most of my collection when it arrives from storage in about a months time.

I will be listing it periodicly on ebay but I will offer it first to the CC community so you guys will have first option.

Included will be multiples of the Viking sets(first run), most of the Jelly bean sets (may as well put them straight on ebay :P ) and selected classic castle sets (I'll still keep my favourites).

Thanks guys for being such a great online community, hopefully through offering these sets to you guys first I can give something back.

Watch this space Cheers guys, Quent

sorry to hear you going into a dark age of Castle, but i beg you don't sell all or you will regret it later, lord knows if i had a choice i'd never sell any of my LEGO but alas bills come up and what not so i'm forced to sell off LEGO even now i'm selling off a bunch on the Bay but holding onto what little castle i have left and what very little space i have left,so remember to hold onto some or you'll feel sorry later, trust me i know.

Yup I'm going to hang onto my favourite sets: kings mountain fortress, blacksmiths shop and guarded inn. The rest are fair game as far as I'm concerned.

MOCing is a thing of the past for me; I work long hours and spending the rest of my time with my family is a high priority. I have other hobbies that take up less time and require less room. Something had to give and unfortunatly lego drew the short straw.

You will be missed. In fact, you have been missed. While I completely understand your position, it makes me sad. You are always welcome back!

I would try and save as much as you could, as you never know whats around the corner in a few years. Sometimes life goes exactly as you plan it, sometimes not. Life happens. Hopefully life will give you the chance to come back here right where you left off.
