This is a very interesting find. Having your own blister packs molded for a making fake battle packs is unlikely. I will look into this matter and try to get an answer from LEGO.

They certainly LOOK real! The logos look just like the ones LEGO makes... The guys a "Power Seller" with 98% so it's not likely he'd be selling fake stuff... I donno. If you'd ask me I'd say they're real.

Hey,

I certainly hope this is real. I agree with Ben that it seems unlikely to be faked up. I hope this hits the US.

That would be awesome! If so kudos to the Lego engineer, market researcher or whoever came up with these! I'd buy a few! Takes me back to the good old days with the little figure boxes with 4-6 men in them.

For whatever it's worth, I received this reply from the seller after inquiring about them:

I really hope these become available through mass release. More importantly however is the price. As much as these look phenomenal, I really don't want to pay an arm and a leg for them. The impulse sets are far too expensive for army building, so I hope that these are a better deal. I need to amass soldiers on a budget  .

This looks absolutely incredible! I want that so much! If this is real, and there is no reason to suppose that it isn't, than this is probably the greatest battle pack in all of lego castle history. I just am terrified that it will only be available at Legoland, don't miss out on a great money maker lego!

God's speed

Wow, these look great...
The thing is, the skeletons are no long really a Lego theme (Replaced with Orcs), and the knights have the old-style torsos (As opposed to the new-style ones.
So as hard as it is to say it, I don't think these are available outside of Legoland. :(

Can anyone zoom in on the image to get a set number?

Looks legit to me. Either that or someone is taking way too much time to make a good looking fake...

Upon closer inspection/though, I'm concerned/intrigued/suspicious that the currency is GBP, but the items are located in the USA. Something seems off with that...

Dr. J,

Looks to me like the 2008 set with the human tower the men still have some of the 2007 designs for the crown knights so I would not worry about them having 'old' designed torsos as they are still in current production schemes. There also seem to be some skellie sets coming out this year as well so do not write anyone off just yet.

Jonde,

I tried enlarging the sets earlier and found 0 set numbers so it may be on the back. I cannot remember if the small plastic bag sets had them on the front or back either.
