The one stud on a dog's back...

Post by paleotaur »

what do you put on there?

I confess to only having once found a use for it; my grandson of the Black Falcon (the only surviving heir) is actually a warlock, of sorts. He has an impish familiar (actually a bat which I will one day spray red :P ) The imp rides on the back of his faithful hound Chassy.

And like I said, that's the only use I've found for that stud. Anyone else?

1) 1x2 plate and some bits and bobs and you have a pack dog carrying whatever.

2) can also be used to rig a sled dog team or pulling a small cart.

3) make a sign over a pet shop.

The only time I ever used the stud was to put a small futuristic looking cannon on the dog to make an attack dog of sorts.
Also I noticed that if you put a 1x1 round brick in the hand of the new troll he can lift the dog up :)

I love that idea, I'm gonna have to use that :D

LEGO uses it as a place to tie to Santa's mini slay, instead of making and official reindeer piece.

The one stud on a dog's back...
This sounds like a reference to some obscure parable... :P

How about a leash. Just putting that out there for use, I mean, a leash is how you walk your dog. *smiles, glad that he gave the uninteresting answer*

You know what's weird, Blue Head, I really hadn't even thought of that.
An attachment for a leash to walk your dog... That does seem like the most logical answer ;) I still vote for lasers and cannons though, or Rocko's solution, that one's great too.

Well if you can't have lego sharks with laser beams, you might as well go for the next best thing. How else would doctor evil be able to torture people?:D

You can also use them for a nice pair of mini figure dog shoes, but the laser idea is the best.

Well, give this idea to a KK2 set designer.

We would see the newest, meaniest, fiercest dog-catapult ever built.
