Well, it's been two and half years since I built it, but seems like I'm playing
catch-up recently. Anyway, the PARV!

Wow...that has to be one of the most incredibly detailed MOCs I've ever seen. I love the detail in all modules...and the size! :o Absolutely incredible!

Much to love.

Your tread solution worked out well here. uses a fairly more common piece vs all that technic brick, heh.

Is there a particular reason why you chose brown for some of your interior chairs? Just curious!

Can't think of anything else. Altogether impressive and I like the modular rooms.

I am not much of a modern/space lego AFOL but I have to say that this is totally amazing. I cannot see how any lego fan would not think so. Great work. Amazing. Nice way to make a comeback!

The contenders were brown, black, blue, yellow, red, and white. I probably would've preferred light or dark gray, but I just didn't own enough of those (except for the bridge chairs that were gray). Of all the choices, though, I thought brown stood out a bit more and didn't look overly flashy. Black would've worked, but doesn't photograph all that well. And I wasn't keen on placing any more BrickLink orders! :)

Well, the vehicle wasn't really on a team-- the Omics were the team were were trying to defend it, and the Omics won the game. However, on the last turn of the game that was played, the Blood Warriors were about to temporarily take control of the PARV. They couldn't take control of the bridge, but they made it to the engine room, and started taking control from there. But there were so few of them that the remaining Omics would have had no problem restoring control for themselves.

Of course, the PARV was injured during the game-- the Omics shot a missile at the advancing Blood Warriors and wound up hitting the PARV's left rear tread! So the tread blew apart and started trailing out behind the PARV, which then became very shaky to ride in.

Very nice. I love that little ship you have that comes out. This is very cool, but it would be a sitting duck to flying enemies.

I like the way you did the interior with all of boxed areas connecting.
Good Job!

I thought it was a catapulted suicide bomber wearing an Indian headdress?

There were some feather-wearing kamikaze's that were launched at the PARV from a pursuing school bus (built by Jonathan Dallas), but I'm pretty sure they all either missed or didn't do any substantial damage to the PARV. I remember while playing making the comment that the most damage the PARV sustained was from its own weaponry!

That's one thing I love about AFOLs. We talk about stuff like this as if it were perfectly normal.

Seriously, though, awesome MOC. I echo what Peppermint Pig said about the tread solution; to me, it even looks better than the "official" tread pieces. Well done!

Ditto to that, but don't leave out TFOLs!

Hey Dave,

That's a pretty amazing vehicle. I really like the modular interior to play inside, and the little rover that pops out the back is awesome.

Totally reminds me of an environment in Metal Gear Solid!

I can really picture Solid Snake sneaking around in there!
