Wow, this is spectacular, IMO. Just doing my daily rounds on B-shelf and stumbled across it. Enjoy!

Holy monkeys! The amount of grey LEGO this guy has is about my entire collection x50. Just the towers on the wall look no under 2 feet, and I don't even want to guess how big that citidel is in the back. Just absolutlety stunning. The only problem, which I don't think can be avoided with massive creations such as this, is the landscaping. It looks great from a distance, though a closer inspection reveals harsh edges or perfectly flat ground. As I said though, it is hard to avoid this in large creations. Golly, I just can't get over how much LEGO there is there. I am amazed that someone had the patience to get enough LEGO to build this, plan it out, build it, take pictures of it, but not post it here yet . I do not recognize the user name as anyone 'round here. Perhaps someone will claim it in the near future, but in the meantime good find!

This has been posted before, especially when it was under siege. I do believe he is a member here... somewhere. This castle is relatively old, two or even three years old.

Wow . This is really really awesome. He used a ton of minifigs. I've never seen this before. Is this guy a member here?

I've been a big fan of this for a while. I really like the renovations that he has done to it though.

I am speechless. It would be wonderful to see it in real life.

yesterday i was trying to sleep but i couldnt cause ideas are allways coming and living, so i opened my comp and on brickshelf i started to watch this castle.

I have to admit that whoever made this had a lot of time and many bricks, but also he put a lot of details. This of course makes his landscape and castle an artwork.

I think i remember that castle under siege by bulls i believe. It looks more cool in that way (normal life)

Its very nice, but I don't see how everyone thinks this is the coolest thing ever; yes it has a big castle and a lot of armies, but there is nothing truly spectacular about this MOC. It is a great example of the big gray wall syndrome, and the landscaping isn't truly great.

However, everyone loves big walls, and massive armies.

EDIT: Just saw the renovations, and I must say, they are much much better. Now I like it, however; I still feel this is getting a little too much wowing.

Eh...some people have a little too much money, too much time, and too little landscaping ethic on their hands...I mean, how do you finish a project like that, and then decide to rebuild it all over again...doesn't make much sense to me. I like brick-built rather than prefabricated trees and bushes (though I have no choice in that respect). Lots of nice activity though...and he has some nice houses.

Now what I would personally like to see is a MOC this size that is currently under construction, as in minifigs are actively building it...you know what I mean.

In fairness, most people are quite positive about most MOCs. The builder has put a good deal of effort into this and for some people size does matter. Not many of us (heck, almost none of us) have the bricks to build on this scale. I've been working on a castle for almost two years now that is half that size, so I can definitely understand the wows. It's a good MOC. Sure, the landscaping may not be up to say Rebel Rock's standards, but in fairness how many builders can match that level of detail, particularly on such a huge scale?
