Anything Goes: Temple of Doom Intro

Postby SirNadroj » Sat May 17, 2008 10:01 pm

To start, please excuse the terrible photography. I haven't mastered wihte-on-white yet. I'd rather deal with a bath-towel background than washed-out photos. ;)

Willies Scotts' song from the opening of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom:

Thanks. =-)

Very cool. Great use for that torso. And the cape use is good too.

Excellent job. I think it's very creative. I also think that the face is too pretty for Willie Scott, where did that head come from? Keep it up.

Very cool vig!

I feel really out of it though. I have no idea where this head, torso and legs come from.

You haven't mastered white on white because nobody does white on white. That would be like black on black  The obvious answer when photographing something white would be to use a black background.

The head is from the Juno Eclipse minifig, and the torso and legs is from Trixie (Speed Racer set).

Neat little MOC.

Very, very cool work. The dragon head looks great, and the figure posing is excellent.

As for the fig, the bright pink doesn't quite capture Ms. Scott's red qipao. This torso might be a better fit.

Fun fact: Kate Capshaw's pronunciation during the song is so horrible, Chinese speakers are unable to tell if she's trying to speak Mandarian (as she claims on DVD extras), Cantonese, or Shanghainese (the three most likely candidates).

Well if that was the worst that could be said of her, the movie would have been much better.

I'll agree the concensus of what's already been posted.

Very cool and innovative idea.
I think Willie Scott looks very much like she did in the movie
and good use of new lego elements...

great overall job!!!
