Fantastic! I love the mix of greys, the detailing around the windows on both the 'first' story and the 'second', and the simple but very effective lantern on the cart. It all combines to give a very realistic and authentic feel to the whole scene. Thanks for sharing.

Truly great, Kris, congratulations! Dark grey tiles sticking out of the wall is something I should also try once. I also like that you mix old brown with new brown. Pretty much my building style.
So, I really love the entire creation! Have you got plans for a whole medieval Polish city?

Good design, well constructed, and well-presented... this is the kind of MOC we need to see more of here.

I like your alternative to using the one-piece walls. The cart is lovely, as is the design of the drawbridge and gate.

Well played! 8)

Wow, I really like this MOC. I especially like the use of wood on the castle and the use of the dark grey tiles. The cart is also very good.

This is one of the nicest gates I've ever seen. The design is extremely well done. The walls are great and the bridge is great and the landscaping is great. However, the wooden hoardings are even better than the rest. I like the river/moat too. The carts and the minifigs (especially the Forestmen lords) are awesome.

But why does one of those Avatar-vested guys have fleshie hands still (not switched out)?

P.S. Thanks for the gallery link, Nelson.

This is awesome, lots of great details. Hoardings are really cool too, I haven't seen many castles that feature them.

I think the use of hoardings was brilliant.
I like "realistic" castles and this is one of the best gates I have seen. I'd be worried if I had to lay siege to such a gate.
A well done MOC.

Wow, this is great! The brown sections and the dark grey pieces mixed in give it a very realistic look! Though I think maybe axes wouldn't be very useful to guards all the way on top of the tower...

Excellent scale, imposing, grand, and nicely ordinary (in the sense of belonging in its surroundings). Great work!

I'll definitely be going for a closer look...

God Bless,

Fortunately my wife allows me to make gigantic projects, it's my wallet that sets the limit :) Have you got a specific plan as to what you'll build next?
