In addition to the big model I'm working on for BrickCon, I built this. It's a small Base8 module. It's very relaxing to just kick back and build some simple houses and buildings.

Your attention to detail is great, as usual. The scene at the center made me laugh - very well done.

Great idea! That skeleton in the back is awesome too (what is that piece btw?).

Nice one.

Rebel,

Nice scene. You always have to be careful with those blasted watchers in the well! Many a trip to draw water has ended in disaster.

The houses look excellent and the man digging in the yard the dirt that has been displaced looks very good.

Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Great work. I liked the scene at the rear. I was a bit excited at the casual use of the word simple. These houses, this MOC in fact, are not simple, but one of your many great creations.

Thanks for giving a real-life demonstration of the base 8 technique.

Dan

Awesome, I had given up hope that we would see another castle MOC from you until BrickCon. As always this is very creative and funny. The guy digging in the back is a great detail. The tudorish houses are not like one of your glorious castles but they are very good.

And thus RebelRock proves, once again, that any MOC can be made awesome with the addition of minifigs battling tentacles sprouting from an unlikely source. Somewhat more seriously, I liked the way you set the doors and windows in the buildings back under arches, it looks great.

Rock, remember how I said I was really happy that you were coming to BrickCon?

You've inspired me to stop tinkering around with other themes and get back to landscaping. :) You have no idea how awesome it feels seeing people use the standard so effectively, I can't wait to see it in the display!

Thanks guys. I really think that with the lineup of people attending BrickCon, we can make one helluva castle display this year. :)

Another great MOC from Rocko. This is getting repetitive...

Anyway, I love it. The details are very nicely done. Not too many, but enough, and not flashy. The well action is superb, and the scene out back just cracks me up!

I hopefully will get to see this (and you) in person at NWBrickCon, though my mom seems to be reluctant to let me go. However, I think I might, might be making small headway.
