For a first large castle, this looks pretty good. I don't like the black plate floors in the main tower. It makes everything too dark. Other than that, the only item I have an issue with is your figs. They don't look too alive. Especially the ones that are supposed to be walking around. Their legs aren't even moving.

God bless.

Nice work. I'm trying to get my first one together too. BURPs, LURP, SNOT it's like going back to school. I'm liking your weapon area. Might have to steal some of your ideas. :D

I think I forgot to set up the figs. Either that, or I was laxy. Usually I do, but I obviously didn't here

Feel free to use them. I don't mind at all.

Thanks for the comments.

I really like it (much better than what I could build at the moment) the only thing I dont like is how the main tower is black and the rest of the castle grey, it doesn't really fit but other than that it's great! :)

Very nice job Elephant Knight. You didn't build it all in one colour but you co-ordinated the colours well. Rather than randomly mixing in black and grey everywhere, you made one big black keep and the rest of the walls grey.
The only thing I would say bothers me is the green baseplates under the front of the castle and the grey one under the back of the castle. Building smaller is not a bad thing, and if that means you can fit it all onto your green baseplate(s), all the better.
But other than that it's great for your first large castle :)

Thanks agian for more replies. As a couple of you pointed out, the black tower doesn't match the rest, but that is only because I ran out of grey AND bley. (In case you didn't notice, it is made out of grey and bley)

Its kind of neat that you have a black keep and then gray walls. Sort of a possible indication of different work periods and materials. It nice, strong walls.
