That is a great review! If I only had the money for the set...

Thanks for posting this. I didn't think it was possible for me to want it more.

An excellent review for a superb set. I just finished building mine a few hours ago. Most excellent. I now have troops from all four factions of the new castle line. None of which I had before. However, the final size is rather large and not so easy to display. If you buy it, make sure you have enough room for that.

Thanks for the find, Steve.

God bless.

Wow! The close-up of the "evil" queen is awesome, I can't wait to get many copies of her. Still unsure that I would want to fork out $200 for it, however. If I did buy it I would be torn between building it as it is or keeping it for parts. I like chess well enough but never play enough for a $200 set.

That is a good review. Thanks for posting.

EDIT: I mixed the price with the Taj Mahal set.

Considering that it costs $200, I'd say that's the least of your worries.

Wow, if it wasn't that much money, I'd say it was great for extra figures and pieces, but it's really not worth it... I mean, If I was a Millionaire and needed a large army, it would be the first place I'd turn, but... it's just over-priced as-is.

It is in no way overpriced considering the amount of pieces.

LOTS of useful parts.

But i hate to buy a 200 set just to part it out. I had a hard enough time doing that with a 7094.

Yeah, I guess you're right, but:

I agree with that. I mean... $200 is a lot... I mean, I guess if you really wanted a castle siege scene, it would be worth it, but then again, I don't usually make things like that... oh well, it's all a matter of opinion.

True. It is part of my "dream" to someday have a lot of money and a big house filled with lots of Lego displays and such.... this would be perfect for that. :P

You know if this was a huge, well designed castle rather than a chess set i'd buy it no question.
