Castle Advent Calendar Poll

Postby SavaTheAggie » Wed Sep 03, 2008 4:34 pm

For those in North America who will not be able to purchase the new Castle Advent Calendar, if you were given the chance to do so, what would you do?

At least two for me, if available.

I have been planning and budgeting to buy eight copies initially. Four for parting and sorting into my collection and four to give to my four children this Christmas. That IS the plan, unless LEGO S@H rains on my parade, and then I would consider threatening them with Playmobil advent calenders. :|

I was planning on buying at least one probably two, maybe three - depending on price. However, there is no way I am going to buy a City advent Calendar. I don't see why LEGO wouldn't make money by selling these in North America.

Who's the bozo who hit "Not interested"??

I will certainly buy at least two instantaneously if they came out. I'd probably buy additions later too.

Maybe he hit the wrong button.

I so would buy one! Provided it wasn't prohibitively expensive.

God bless.

I wanted to get 2-4, depending on price, but more than one for sure.

As the poll said: I would buy one if the price was right.

And if I had money.

I'd buy several if the price is right. Of course, I will inevitably get the figs I want from this set even if it means overpaying on Bricklink. I just hope it doesn't come to that.

As I said in another thread, I had hoped to buy two, one that would be opened as a proper advent calendar and then one as a treat to be opened sometime after Christmas.

Thanks Tony for running the poll. That's some excellent 'Ambassadorness' in action.

Depending on the price I would plan on four but would end up with more (around eight) depending on how available it is. I will have to rely on Bricklink for some of the unique figures albeit at inflated prices. It still irks me why LEGO would do this and will go on irking me for some time. In the least it reaffirms the need for Bricklink.

I hope this is not a trend where more sets in the future will not be sold here.
Sad.
