KK2 Sets up on Lego.com
Heya --
Just checked today. The new Knights Kingdom sets are actually listed on Lego.com. Not on the front page (of course). Go to the 'more' option on themes and Knights Kingdom is listed as one of the new items.
Frankly I was having doubts as to whether these sets actually were real or not -- but, there ya go!

Re: KK2 Sets up on Lego.com
I did a quick price per piece calculation, not including shipping or taxes etc.DaveOhare01 wrote:The new Knights Kingdom sets are actually listed on Lego.com.
8777 20.93 cents per piece
8778 11.23 cents per piece
8779 9.65 cents per piece
8780 11.31 cents per piece
8781 14.24 cents per piece
So, while 8777 is the cheapest box, it is the worst in terms of price per piece.
Just my two cents worth.
Alan
PS 8780 seems to have the most interesting selection of parts, based on the photos.

True Dat, Formendacil. It's gonna be hard to build up a good army of scorpion guys with this... I wish they gave you more than one in the sets they come in. For sets, the best bet for me would be the Citadel. Good parts and my two favorite knights come in there, as well as one Shadow and that wizard dude.

While browsing lego.com, I came across the Knights' Kingdom page, and the 'Book of Morcia' section of the site. This section details the history of the theme. It seems silly that they'd release so few sets and put such an in depth history behind it. Maybe they'replanning on putting out more sets after the initial run?

Based on the depth of the back-story, I have hopes that the various knights' castles will come out as sets. The current crop seem to only give us the king's castle and the knight's temple thinga-ma-bob. Each provincial castle may come out as a set. We can hope!doctorsparkles wrote:Maybe they'replanning on putting out more sets after the initial run?

I thought it was established that the 'previously unseen' set is actually two existing sets being sold as a bonus pack... regardless, it does say October on the box, so maybe the bonus pack is due to come out with a second wave of sets.Formendacil wrote:Also, doesn't Sava's post regarding the new, previously unseen KK2 set in the German catalogue also seem to point to an extended run next year?
