2008 Christmas Fig Exchange
Happy Holidays to you all!
Once again its time to get organized and plan out the Christmas Fig Exchange!
Christmas Fig Exchange Rules
1. The deadline for signing up is Dec. 10th.
2. The fig you exchange should have accessories.
3. The minifig doesn't need to be an official castle fig, as long as it's useable in a castle setting. Some Star Wars fig parts are acceptable, as well as Oriental Expedition, Harry Potter, etc. If you have concerns about a particular piece, ask your trading partner if they consider it "Castle".
4. Try to keep the value of the fig around 5 dollars or so. However, this is merely a guideline. If you want to send out a Forestwoman to your partner, feel free. Just don't expect something as valuable in return!
5. If you wish to participate, post a message in this thread. Tell us roughly where you live so that we can try to match you up with someone close. "Try" being the operative word here.
6. A list of the exchange partners will be posted after the 12th. It is then your responsibility to contact your partner and trade addresses and/or make arrangements to exchange figs. It is up to you and your partner to decide whether or not to keep the figs secret or to share a "wish list".
7. If you sign up and then do not send out a fig, take months to complete the trade, or cause other kinds of havoc in this exchange, you will not be allowed to participate next year. So bear that in mind if you think you will have problems. People who have a history of delays in completing their end of exchange will be left off the list.
8. Have Fun!
The following is the information needed:
Username
Location
Willing exchange Custom Figs
Willing to ship outside your own country
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. If you run into problems with you exchange partner, let me know right away, please.
Merry Christmas!
Josh
Fine Print: I am not running this exchange in my official Admin capacity. This is not a sanctioned/official Classic-Castle event. Basically that means you are participating at your own risk. If you send off that fully-loaded fig wearing the Red Ghost and wielding double black swords and you get nothing in return, I can't do anything about that.

Thanks Josh! I haven't officialy signed up yet, but I have some questions, before and if I do...
Can we trade multiple figs with our partners?
By ,"accesories" you mean 2 or more right?
Could the fig be used, or does that not matter as long as it's about 5 dollars or more? I know it's just a guideline, but I'm curious, as I don't wanna give/receive a cheap 2 buck minifig.

You can trade whatever you want with your partner. By accesories, I mean not just a bare fig. By 5 dollars, I mean plan to give/receive something around that value.Garbageman13 wrote:I have some questions
These are all guidelines. Most people have had a lot of fun with this, but some people have had bad trades.

With my tight budget, I may have to skip this event, but we'll see..
