Nice! great design features. I like the shields on the walls.
But not really good for a standard. maybe a bit too big? Could be your own standard af course but this does not look so versatile.

That is a beautiful wall. Reminds me of the walls of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

I do have to agree that it might not be a good candidate for a modular standard as it is somewhat parts intensive and not very flexible. Certainly a great template on which to build if you have the pieces though.

nice walls sections, I especially like the gatehouse. Its cool that you've made a pretty nice looking wall using those pre-fab castle wall elements. Considering that those are used, as opposed to regular bricks I don't think this is terribly parts intensive.

My only critique is that the hoardings are much too tall, with the roof, they look taller than the stone part of the wall, which t0 me just doesn't look right.

thanks for your answers! maybe it's not a good standard, but it's not so part intensive

Wow, these walls give off a truly impressive appearance! Perhaps I shall pretend it is a standard and copy it.

Dear Medieval_total_lego,

those are some great walls. :)
I've been contemplating a modular size for walls as well.
Personally, I've abandoned lego's standard baseplate size and opted for a 20 stud wide wall instead of 16 or 32 studs. This because it is a multiple of 5 and 4 studs. Allowing both the use of "larger" wall sections and regular bricks, while having a seamless transition to another wall section.
Any thoughts about this from your experience?
Kind regards,

Teddy

Those are very impressive walls! I do not think I could make more than a small wall section if this was a standard but it is very neat. The look you have with hoardings and such is very nice as well as history.

Hi Marco,

I like your work a lot. So there is still plenty for me to learn from you.
And if you are a biginner, you have a lot of talent.
Kind regards,

Teddy
