Cheers all!
To update the Qs:

Intentionally, I'll hasten to add ; ) I really wanted the caves and beacon to stand out in contrast to a barren snow scape...

Very cool tower idea. How many wedges went into that? Is it just friction that holds the columns of wedges together? Is the tower attached at the bottom somehow?
The tower is attached via the tried and true 1x1 round plates amidst tiles method, and yes the columns are held together by friction. I can't remember the exact number of wedges, but it is more than 20 per layer... annoyingly hard to obtain as well... ; )

BTW, sorry I haven't had a chance yet to go through the whole site and give you some feedback, but my initial glance through it leaves me very impressed.
No worries, I appreciate your impressions/thoughts more than a detailed list of my errors ; )

This is quickly becoming legendary already, following in the footsteps of your Entrace to the Caves.
Thanks a million! Much appreciated, especially from yourself...
God Bless,
