LEGO City Farm 7637 Farm set:

http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?S=7637-1

I see some nice stuff in that pic. Namely, new cows and a reddish brown ladder, not to mention a dog, a cat, and a couple baseplates. Nice. :D

Yeah, its fairly common knowledge.

But it looks to be a set with a lot of good parts.

I like the cows, but I'm not into town and wouldn't get it solely for the cows.

That's new to me. Are those mega-tiles for the roofs?

Agreed...there's nothing I'm really into in that set either, apart from the cows.

Regardless, it looks like a good set. New pieces, new animals, and a good design. The ladder looks pretty good, so that could swing it for me! :D

Don't forget the farmer in the barn is wearing a tan fedora (indiana jones hat).

Blue triple wedge plates will be going down in price soon. :P

I'd maybe buy one, but I know there are many good sets coming, such as the temple of doom: Even though there may be some misgivings on the fig count or the design, is going to be a huge seller with those track elements.

I'm getting it. I remember an incident involving farm equipment that might make a funny vig, comic or brickfilm.

Here's a good gallery of pics. I love the cows, the tractor, the little lawnmower and tool cart, but really dislike the tan buildings.

As I expected, besides the tractor and figs/animals there's really not much here at all. :(

Pfft, I'll buy the smaller tractor and build my own farm!

The general set idea is IMO fantastic.

But as I look into the details, it's a series of disappointments... too many large pieces where there could have easily been more smaller pieces. I can understand the grain silos/container made with round quarter-cilinders and the two huge crane legs. But I don't understand why the large tiles for the roofs, the vertical tan columns for walls (well not much walls there...) and even the front barn wall seems to be just 2 large pieces.

Still the overall is pretty nice, but should have been a bit more build-valuable.

Toys R Us has it for $89.99 which in my opinion is too much, but i have a very limited budget.

I really like the idea. The cows look particularly nice to me

Whoa... on second thought, no thanks, Lego.

I don't remember if it's in the 60s or 80s euro range in european catalogs.

The other farm sets are something like 40e for the harvester, 23e the horse trailer and 12e the tractor. 65e for the farm would be more reasonable... if you look at the buildings they are very "empty".

I would not be surprised if the MSRP is closer to 69.99 or 79.99 in the USA instead of 89.99 by TRU. We need to have patience and wait for Shop at Home or other retailers to get the sets. Since Farm is a theme I have been wanting LEGO to make for a long time, I will certainly purchase a number of these sets.
