Medieval Market Village MOC

Post by DNL »

I made a little MOC one of the houses of the MMV. I actually made the landscape to trie out some tilted rock techniques and see how big rocks i can make in my next MOC (a castle), and decided to put one of the MMV houses and my church behind it.
I will start on the big castle MOC when a bricklink order arrives.

Awesome :D
Dude that's really well made, I love the rocks and the church.
It all just works together.

Hey, you've outdone yourself, Daniel! The church in the background just looks great and the tilted rock technique is really innovative, you're one of the masters of landscaping. I'll have to try that myself some time...

Very nice. I like the way you've offset the lego building on a much grander scale...

God Bless,

Hey Dan,

Awesome scene. It all works well together. That tilted rock technique is clever.

Probably the best MOC built around The Medieval Market Place yet. :)

Very spiff. The tilted rock is a very good idea. Really opens up a great variety of possible formations for rock faces and such. Nice idea.

As the others have said, the landscaping is great. I would imagine some of the younger residents spending hours playing on the rocks. The flowers are spot on, the bottom red ones look like tulips, great idea.

Very nicely built. The landscaping is perfect, and the sense of depth it has because of the MMV house and the church beyond it is very nice. I can just imagine even more buildings rising behind it.

(Can't wait to see the big castle either!)

God bless.
May the blessing of the Lord be upon you. <><

This MOC is very creative. I am a big fan of the perspective it takes and of course the landscaping (makes me wish I were better with landscaping myself). Nicely done...

Thanks for the comments everybody :)
I'm going to make the castle that i will start building soon the same way as my 'CrownCastle' that i built in 2007, in different stages.

Thanks,
This is the only pic since there is no back, it is only the landscape with the MMV house and the church behind it. There is another picture of the church on my flickr account, and some more on my brickshelf account.
