Misery
Misery
Hey there,
Last night I parted a couple of new sets for my shop, but just had to keep the two trans-red tiaras from the one Indy set I bought, since I thought they had some nifty MOC potential.
After noticing that when put in a hat peice, it looked like my minifig's brains were spurting out, I soon put together this itty bitty MOC:

I feel really bad for this Orc.. He had a hard enough life as is..

Thanks, guys!
"I like how you placed the guy stepping on the orc. I don't think I've ever seen that before."
Thank you. I had realized a couple weeks ago that you can make a minifig curled up in a ball, so this is a bit of a variation of that (Haven't seen it done either, but you never know, I'm sure somebody out there has done it).
I really like using those Mandrake faces on Orcs. They go together very well.. In a sad way really..

I like how you did the leg but think it goes a little high. It might look better if you raise up the rest of the fig a plate or two. The spurting blood is very effective, as is the mandrake face.

Yeah, the leg could probably have aforded to be a tad lower (It was standing on a "rock", which measured two plates high), but it didn't look quite as appealing to me when it was just a plate higher than the other leg.

Nice choice of torso, and a great small MOC. I could really see this tiara use catching on...
God Bless and thanks for sharing,

That would be great. It's a pretty cool effect, and it would certainly be usefull in detailed batter scenes and whatnot.
The good thing is, those tiaras run at a fair price over at Bricklink.
EDIT:
You could even use the trans-green tiaras for minifigs like orcs and such that you think might have green blood, or you could have a spilled potion bottle or something. They also have two different trans-blue ones, which could possibly used as water splashing.

THAT... is incredibly cool. I saw it on your flickr a few days ago, and didn't think to check for a topic. Oh well. It's still great. Poor troll!

Learning French.
Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

I really like the Mandrake head-goblin(ork, troll whatever) body combo, makes me feel sorry for the poor thing.
