I noticed this today while setting up my Pirate figs:

Any idea which set the regular green guy came in?

Is it a predictable variation? Does regular green come in a particular set and dark green in others?

Only set I've gotten with that torso is Cannon Battle.

I have a regular green that came in Kracken Attack. I was unaware it was special since it's the only one of the new pirate sets I've picked up so far.

That's quite interesting. I'll have to check my collection now! Green rag hats aren't cheap, by any means! They only came with that Forestmen Lady, IIRC.

You've possibly mis-understood, the brighter green head-rag was added to emphasize the color variation of the shirt in this character. The head-rags included in the poster's Cannon Battle sets are all of the dark green variety. Sir Dano just wanted to share with us that the shirt colors appear to be coming out differently at the print factory.

Count Blacktron is correct, the stripes on the torso are normal green(front and back), instead of dark green.
