Widmore II

Post by RichardAM »

My entry for the 2009 Battles Contest. After one of their own is caught and held in the dungeons, the Forestmen traverse the greenland and the Great Forest to reclaim their friend and ally, at any cost.

More photos can be found here.

The MOC is a total remake of my entry from last year, redesigned, rebuilt, and totally reconsidered. The original entry post from last year is here.

Thanks for looking!

Nice job, the action is fantastic! I like how there are little pockets of battle going on, the forestman who is cornered by the soldiers, the knight riding down the forestmen on the bridge, the forestmen fighting off the soldiers while his friend climbs up to help. There is a lot to look at, very cool!

Well done, Richard! The action is excellent and not at all crowded. There's a lot going on and it's occurring all over the place! Excellent job, mate!

I think this is an absoloutley marvoulous set that you have built with skill and effort. :D

no victory without suffering,
no freedom without sacrifice.

It is good to see remodelling and improving, this looks like a great cover of the original :)

Thanks for the comments all- I wanted a series of smaller battles rather than one big skirmish, so thanks for the praise. :)
