Hey all,

I almost never note Star Wars MOCs here because, well, there's FBTB for that, but the sheer scope of this project made my jaw drop. CSTEVENS is working on this Tantive IV. This ranks up there with the Harry Truman, the Hood and the Yamato for sheer audacity.

BIG! That is a massive task. Looks like it is very nice. Has he done any interiors? I looked through the pictures but did not see any real inside shots.

The first picture with the human builder for scale has a pair of escape pod-looking holes that make me want to ask, "Open the pod bay doors Hal."

Holy crap. That is huge.

also, by "Yamato" do you mean the Japanese battleship, The one named such in Star-Trek:The Next Generation, Or the Space Battleship from a certain anime? Because if its the 3rd, I really want to see it. Infact I might already have.

I think he means the Japanese battleship. I saw a huge MOC like this one of that ship.

Excitedly went to look at the pictures, only to find that Brickshelf is being pissy again-- there are directories, but nothing in them. Again.

You do know that #1 and #3 on your list are the same. Space Battleship Yamato was a retro-fit of the WWII Battleship. :eyebrows:

Okay, let's see them do the Imperial Star Cruiser at the same scale! :sly:

Or perhaps the moon of Endor with the Second Death Star all in minifigure scale?
Really I have nothing to add, I just wanted to be heard.

Yes actually i do, but I've seen MOCS of the WWII version and I've seen mocs of Space Battleship Yamato. But I'm more interested in the anime one.
I was thinking maybe he was the guy that did this:

Ironically, he is.

Both ships (the WWII ship and the Space Battleship Yamato) were built by the same builder.

Hey,

As noted, Jumpei Mitsui, or Junlego, spent the last few years working on his fig-scale version of the WWII Battleship Yamato. He had previously done a microscale version and also the anime space version. Plus lots of other great stuff - check his gallery linked above. Looking around, there's another version of the spaceship by Vincent Cheung.

The other two I was referring to are Ed Diment's HMS Hood and Malle Hawking's USS Harry Truman.

BTW, thanks to the Brothers-Brick for making it easier to find the links to these.
