i am not very creative when it comes to the little robot/working machines type things.

So you are looking for small robots that look like dwarves or made by dwarves? Can you please be a little more specific?

There's either a problem with reading comprehension on this forum, or people just like to be unnecessarily sure about things... As for the topic at hand, I don't have anything built like you've described, but I'm inspired... I'd use the new gold color primarily.
Have you ever played the RPG morrowind? There's lots of "dwarven" architecture and robots for inspiration, and even an old fat one with a set of mechanical legs, like in the new alpha team sets.

yeah i use morrowind for inspiration. i built a stable based on one outside of a town.
i ordered some copper pieces from bricklink, and bought some clock round tiles from the lego store for the chest, not good at using technic pieces, that stuff just doesnt flow for me like it does for some others.

That cracked me up! Fear the robot dwarf!
I agree with Lefty though, badbriancool, that your question was perfectly clear. The first one that popped into my mind when I read your question was this one by Darkspawn, there's even a little dwarf piloting it:
It was featured in this great diorama:

I also can't deny I'm a big Elder Scrolls fan, and Morrowind has some excellent Dwarven (Dwemer) architecture and machinery, those are great inspiration indeed! You made me want to build a big dwarven robot now

Here's a small robot I threw together out of recent and common parts, loosely based on some dwemer bots-

and here it is with alternate thief-mechanist head

Interesting design - I can kinda see it skittering around in the Dwarven tunnels.

I am pretty sure dwarves are little. I just wanted to make sure thats not what he wanted. So it might seem like I am being unnecessarily sure about things, lefty, but I am just asking a simple question.
