Hello!

Here is my latest creation, the Black Widow Tower:

This stretched my collection in multiple directions, and as a result I had to sacrifice the interior space.

Please let me know what you think!

Great job! I like the little flecks of light bley mixed in with the old light grey.

Nice work. I like how it looks a bit top heavy. Makes it fanciful. The green plants everywhere give it a nice feel too.

My only complaint is it seems a bit lopsided, particularly from the back...

Is there an interior?

Steve

Hi I saw it on brickshelf and I like it immediately. I like the fact that the MOC is not too big, but at the same time detailed and developed in vertical.
The only thing I don't like is the coloumn on the side which seem to me a bit too "artificial" and "modern". For the rest I like it very much and since I'm always worried about mixing the 2 gray, I'm glad to see that the effect of the mix is good also in not-so-big MOCs.

This moc definitely looks like part of it is going to fall over. Other than the landscaping, I like the various roof shapes on the timber frame upper story.

This is really fun to look at. That leaning/top heavy look is great. Nicely done.

Nice tower, I like all the different shapes of the building and the roof.

The column reminds me of the castle in Le beaux de provence, there is a pillar there that seems to support the rocks above. I'm not sure if that really is the function of the column though, it seems to be a part of a building built inside a cave. Here is a picture (the 'column' is in the middle of the picture)

Great stuff, I love the vegetation and rock formations under the tower, and the tower itself has too many cool architectural details to highlight, so I'm just gonna say I love the whole thing :D

I really love this tower, with the topheavy effect. The vegetation is really cool and the crossed axes above the door and lion flag are a nice touch.

Amazing, does it open and close?

Thanks very much for the responses everyone! :D

The lopsided top-heavy look was intentional to a degree, to give the creation fantasy look, but I can see how I might have taken it a slightly too far, from the back angles especially. I guess you could say that the chance of collapse adds to the excitement when living there. :tasty:

The floors can lift off, but there is no interior. I originally planned on one, but I had to forgo it due to part shortages.

Thanks for the link, I hadn't seen that before.

I'm glad you think it looks good. I would prefer not to mix them, but didn't have enough pieces in just one of the colours to build this.

Thanks again everyone, I appreciate it.

I really like the look of this, it's a pity that you were unable to do the interior. I was just wondering if there was a story as to how it got it's name?

Thanks. The name was really just picked because I liked the way the spider looked above the door.

The narrow footprint was an excellent choice.

I didn't see that the staircase was open when I left a comment on Flickr, but it's no less awesome clinging to the side of the rocks.
