Hello all,

It's been a long time since I posted here but I saw a MCCV MOC on Brothers Brick and decided to stop by. I had built a micro mosque to celebrate ramazan last week and I came across this micro cotnest. What luck! I hope you like it :) Here's my entry for the contest, Mahmudiye Camii :

Very nice design. Is this based on a specific masque? Sorry if you have that info elsewhere but I did not see it. How did you do the towers on the minaret or minare?

Hello mate, thansk for the comment. It's not modeled over some real building. I made it up myself. As for the minares, I used two Technic pin connectors, one inverted dish, one round brick, one cone and one claw:

Hey Cagri,

Nice mosque. I especially like your solution for the crescent moon detail. I've blogged you over on GodBricks. BTW, please let me know of any Islamic-themed MOCs you find - I try to highlight all faith traditions on my blog, but since so much of the LEGO community is from western Europe and the US, those religious MOCs I see are mostly Christian in nature.
