First MOC on CC

Hi all,
I've been frequenting this forum for about a year now and I decided finally to go ahead an sign up. I made my first MOC about a year ago, and had been coming here for inspiration. I might post that later but for now I'm stranded at college so I started messing around with the Lego Digital Design software trying to design some sort of Jousting Pavilion to add to my MOC town. My inspiration was the Jousting Pavilion in Stronghold 2 combined with some aspects from A Knights Tale, and "joust" by DARKspawn.

A few things of note:
-I don't like the guard rail behind the Noble Box or the end of the Box roof in the back, so any suggestions there are especially appreciated.
-There is a random D bucket and lance as a reminder for me to get some at a later date.
-Due to restrictions of the software, I will be adding a Shield with my towns crest on it in between the two axes. I may also tilt the axes or replace them with the silver swords at a later date. Also I was not able to connect the cylindrical pieces in the guard rail due to restraints in the software or my ignorance of it. I'll also add some black and white flags to the Noble Box top, and then flags for each knight on the respective side of the pavilion. Lances will also be stored in the holders at the back of the pavilion.

Enjoy!

Nice! I hope to see it built from real bricks as well!
Things I like:
-I like how it looks like a set.
-The color sheme is excellent.
-The chair is awesome.
-I love how the barrier fits with the color scheme as well.
By the way, If you like your MOCs to be historically correct, like me, then the barrier in jousts wasn't actually invented until the late 1400's!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Yea I really hope to get it into physical form soon, unfortunately I'm AFB (away from bricks) at the moment so I have to settle for CAD.
I'm very into having that set look, because I'm still transitioning into more realistic MOCs, though I don't know if I'll make the jump any time soon though :tasty:

Yeah, I've never been a fan of CAD models, as they...they...just... don't look real! It'd look much better in real form and with a crowd, horses, and nobles/judges.

Aside, I love the color scheme, and the chair does have a nice design.I don't really get the letter on the floor next to the chest though, does it really serve a purpose?

Thanks,

Oh right sorry I should clarify (probably bad presentation on my part) but the letter, D baskets, mugs, and lances are a personal reminder of pieces I need to buy :roflol:

Hopefully when I run into some money I can post the real thing but who knows then that will be

I love the look of this, great idea. It reminds me very closely of one I saw in real life built at a renaissance festival outside the jousting grounds. For a different railing, I can't recall whose MOC I saw it in, but I saw one I really liked once that was made of solid brown minifig 'heads' stacked two tall, with a brown tile across the tops.

P.S. I've seen some LEGO fans in college manage to keep at least a briefcase or suitcase full under their bed... it might help with a quick LEGO fix from time to time :)
