The Mystery Castle

Post by crises »

Hello

I'd like to show you my latest MOC. It's a castle design for a King who is afraid to leave his home. I'm not good in writing stories so let the pictures (and video) talk.

You may click the picture to see the gallery on Flickr

but most important thing in this MOC is a video: on YouTube.

I'm curious about your comments, so don't hesitate. Is it right way or misunderstanding to build such 'cross-overs'?

Regards,
crises

Hey Crises,

Very cool. The moving tower turret kind of reminded me of a MOC by Eric Brok many years ago. He used pneumatics to make a wizard's tower that expanded like a telescope. Good luck in the BTT.

Love the idea of the king being "afraid to leave his home." It's a creative solution to his problem!

I was thinking about something similar, but building expanding tower only with gears and motors was too difficult to not-technic-skilled builder as I am.
Thanks for wishing luck.

Thank you all for your comments.

I love the two different colors in the castle! It makes it really visually interesting.

Incredibly amusing. I really wish I had power function elements to build my own remote control castle. Then we could have castle battles!

Nice castle! It's simple... yet awesome. I would have never guessed that it would move. :D
