I love it, but what are the Trolls turning? The carousel?

I do hope you're entering this in the misc. category. It's simply wonderful.

Haha, ingenius! I love it. All the things in this MOC are amazing. I like the ferris wheel especially.

God bless, and good luck in the contest!

If this is entered in the CCCVII, it will be a worthy entry, if not instantly-winning. :D The troll-enslavement is a great idea, and I love the bumper cars.

What do you mean, "no break for 2 months?"

Oh yeah. Any MOCs I build from now until 31st Dec are almost guaranteed to be for the CCCVII. I started building this the day before the categories were announced, hoping it could fit into an Entertainment/Festival category, but alas! (I tend to find Misc. easier to build for)
Lord Lego 436 wrote:I love it, but what are the Trolls turning? The carousel?
The troll in the wheel turns the ferris wheel, the big troll turns the carousel (some hidden gears between the layers...). Originally I intended to build a Grand Carousel sized one in the centre of the top level, but I couldn't get it to work out (not enough click hinges...), so that's why the pole is in the middle, not the corner.

Last year, after a slightly delayed start, I ended up doing huge late-night builds, which really wasn't good for me... This year I'm trying to take it easier, take my time, but keep up a good pace. Unfortunately there's no vig category this year, for the quick build!

Very nice MOC indeed, shows a lot of imagination, I especially like the mini-drake on the carousel, not to mention the troll torture/engine room. I can just imagine a sign on the door that reads "Do not enter, Fayre magic in progress."

I don't know where to start, this is just a brilliant moc. Excellent crowd diversity and detailing; the rides are phenomenal, you even have a freak show. Below the fair, your torture chair is amazingly realistic and using the trolls to power the rides is a great idea. Great idea and excellent execution, I can't find any flaws in this work. Nice going!

The only word that can accurately describe this is brilliant. One of my favorite details are the skid marks on the dodgems course. And of course, the troll powered mechanisms are superb!
