The Bladed Grate (Pirate MOC!)

Post by Voran_the_Scholar »

One of my first ever Pirate MOCs. (Or is it the first ever...I do not recall...): The Bladed Grate

Image

The Bladed Grate is a particularly cruel manner of execution. Victims are dropped into a pool of stagnant water and the Bladed Grate is slowly lowered down until it is just below surface level. The poor victim is faced with impalement or drowning as the amount of breathable oxygen the victim has access to steadily decreases. And yet, if the victim would merely get a hold of himself and swim to the bottom of the tank. He would find a great wheel, a valve, a chance to live again. But oh too often do the victims do nothing but thrash about and beg for mercy. Such cruelty...

Comments and Criticism are welcome. :)

That sounds like a pretty cruel form of execution. I like how the victim isn't at a 90 degree angle from the surface of the water. My only nitpick is that the surface of the water doesn't look exactly like water, adding some splashing and having it uneven could help. All in all a good moc though.
