How do you write LEGO? I have always wrote it LEGO; I think that's the right way. Is there any official way the company wants you to write it? How do you write it?

The official way to write LEGO is to write it in all caps the first time. Then later you can write Lego in other sentences. Of course fans write l3g0 in many ways.

Oh, it's gotta be LEGO!
That's the closest thing to the red, white, and yellow bubble letters we all know and love!

It really depends on if I feel like reaching for the Shift key or not. Usually I go "Lego" and sometimes "LEGO". I really don't think it matters too much either way. Lego is LEGO.

I like to shout it out loud.

It really depends on my mood, I usually prefer to use all upper-case letters when I'm referring to the little plastic bricks and use 'TLG' when referring to the company itself.

Hello!
I write “Lego”, because that’s about the only way to incorporate it properly into the written language. Capital L, fot it is a name. Lowercase ego, because their ego should not be all too big. They certainly are not entitled to rule everybody's orthography.

I prefer LEGO.
Although TLG is rather catchy.

What does TLG stand for anyways?
Looks like a run away win for LEGO...

Everyone outside the Lego community spells it "Lego" or "Legos".

A lot of us here on this forum use TLG (That Lame Guy) as code for a certain individual. Send me a PM if you want to know who.

Lego. I know it should really be 'LEGO', but doing it all in caps gives it a vaguely god-like image. And of course, on the internet, caps is generally taken to mean yelling and anger, and it's highly unlikely you'd need to angrily yell "LEGO!!!" at the top of your voice. Then again, after seeing those Galidor sets...

Hence, a poll?
If you care to explore and read, you will find your official answer in the
2009 Company Profile, written in the King's English (sic), on page 19.

I usually follow their policy, but sometimes I write it as
Shirley.

Shirley? Lego is a girl?!? Or I suppose Shirley could be a boy's name to... Is Shirley it's first or last name?
I always say Lego, cause I'm a rebel.
