I figured i was the only one addicted to Lego Castle?

Hello, my name is Randy (group of voices) hello Randy.

LOL.

I got my first lego set back in 1977 when i was 5 years old, built lots of stuff all the way up to the expert level TECHNIC sets in Middle school High school years. All of my toys got Boxed up in 1988 and have not seen the light of day until this year!!

I was amazed my mother had kept all of them still in the box! Also found some other toys from that era, like transformers, Micro Machines, M.u.s.c.l.e. Men, and Hot Wheels. It was like going back into time!! :)

So now 22 years later i have two small boys (4 and 1) and the 4 y/o is hooked on Legos. i can only give him a few old sets per month or it would be toy overload for him.

Here are some pictures!! And BTW i saw the thread on the 2010 ToyFair Castle series and im already hunting for those!! Hope they show up on the store shelves soon!

Enjoy the pics guys! I will upload some more later this week when i have time.

Nope, you're not the only one. You're also not the only one around here in his late 30's either.
Welcome and see you around.

Welcome here.

You had huge quantities of lego!
And you even have multis of some, like maiden's cart. :twitch:

I think, if you had to give all to your son at once, it would be overload of sorting for you, first.
Unless you have a dedicated playroom big enough, you won't be able to build up the whole three main worlds at the same time.

Welcome! Nice LEGO collection (especially the instructions). I too remember the Micro Machines... I think we still have them, in the loft of our garage! :o

Wow! Look at all those classic spacemen! And that vast amount of classic Castle instructions is making me jealous, having been born at the very end of that era.

Welcome to Classic-Castle!

Hey Randy,

Welcome to the world of AFOLs! No, you're far from the only one. That's an amazing collection you've got there and it brings back all kinds of memories (also the transformers etc as well). You've got some real all-time favorite sets in there, from all three major genres. I'm looking forward to when we can start sharing my collection with my kids - right now they're still at the Duplo stage. Hope you enjoy your stay here at CC!

Bruce

I remember when I found out I wasn't the only AFOL as well. Man was THAT a relief! :)

You're not weird, don't worry. And welcome! Enjoy! :tasty:
