Post by legosammy »

A very good start. You've managed to get a decent-sized, cohesive-looking castle with relatively few parts. I like how you used that baseplate sideways from its normal orientation. I would like to see the interior fleshed out a bit more though; right now it's looking rather sparse.

Your castle has a nice, clean look. I really like the outside walkways and stairs.

I agree that your orientation of the baseplate is clever and works well for this project. If you do have any spare bricks, the one suggestion for an improvement I might think of would be to raise the battlements at the front on either side of the walkway by one or two courses, and to raise the floor as well, in order to separate those two areas from the walkway into the keep. I really like this castle -- it looks very playable. Thank you for sharing it with everyone.

It's very slick and handsome castle, it has some kind of charm that is evident at the first glimpse :)

I suggest you build something new, keeping in mind the comments of this thread. Also, try looking at other people's small castles and borrow some tips and tricks from them, and you'll be off to a good start. :)
