It's not bad,but he can't compete with Blasterman.

His designs look great! I especially like the first elven-like helm. This might look great with Anthony's Atlantis theme. Does anyone know if he sells these online?

Competition? I'm thinking "no".

Some of his stuff looks good, but I'm not worried...at all.

His stuff is okay, Blasterman's way more LEGO like this is just blob like. The only thing I would consider buying is the Greek/Roman helm. I'd rather spend my money on those new Crusader type helms from Jeff.

Haven't we seen this stuff before?

Can't remember what the thread was (SOMETHING in Customs, I'm sure), but I'm sure we've seen at elast some of these before. And they are certainly good, far better than I could ever make, anyway.

But no competition. Definitely.

These look like homemade stuff. Well done, but homemade.

Blasterman's look like real pieces.

Blasterman's is much better. The last figure seems to be wearing pretzels?

But that's ok though. I started by making "homemade" stuff. You have to start somewhere.

Maybe so, but that probably has a lot to do with the fact that I have my stuff professionally molded.
This guy might get his stuff molded also. You never know.

Emperor James - Is that a "Stronghold - Crusader" avatar you have there? Very cool...

I think the beard is an excellent piece and the elven like helm has some definite nice design elements. He has a good start for home made parts.

The armor pieces really need to be cleaned up and made more symetrical. The visored helm is probably the weakest of the designs as the eye slits don't line up with the minfigs eyes. Overall the helm visor design is pretty weak. The pointed helm with the weird spike looks a bit silly too.

Give him some time and he might be able to produce parts that would be worth molding, but these probably won't be the ones.

As to competition for Jeff... please.

Looking at Dire Avenger's avatar and rereading comments about funky helmets.

Teasing aside, these things are always a matter of taste. I'll go with Jeff's visored bascinet (or Mr. Funky Beaky to you 8) ) over Arealight's stuff (and yes, they have been discussed before on another thread including possible eastern inspirations), but that's just me going for western historical done well.
