Its been over a year since I started working on my latest castle, Haradford Castle.

I'm in the process of uploading photos from the STEAM exhibtion where Sly Owl and myself ran a seige on the castle. I will be upload more over the next days/weeks.

I've found classic castle very helpful in a number of techniques I've used and have had to rebuild sectons after looking here (particulaly the 'avoiding the 'big grey wall' sydrone'). Hope I've done a half decent job and would appreciate any comments as I'm already planning for the next castle for STEAM 2012!

Cheers, James

If you do not mind me asking... how did you get the black falcon already?! I am jealous.

It says on Flickr that he was just borrowed for the photo shoot. :)

Amazing! It genuinely looks realistically proportioned and well thought-out. It makes me want to try something more functional too. All the little details are superb. I'm impressed!

Hi James,

I've really been enjoying looking through the photos from STEAM and was amazed by this castle. Good to make the connection and figure out who built it. Please go through and take many more photos, I'd love to see all of the details.

I like the mix of boxy and smooth contrasted by round and mottled. Good look

I have been catching glimpses of this on flickr, and this is truly a masterpiece. A collab this size is sometimes very difficult to do, but you two pegged it. Great work both of ye!

Don't know if this was a play on my nickname - it did make me laugh either way.

This has very imposing scale and presence. The castle looks massive, just like you would think it would if you were a minifig and attacking the walls. Great detail and realistic seige weapons! An amazing build.
