My Girls (Attack on Mountain Lodge) - timber castle entry

Post by Karrde »

Hey Classic Castle, this year I've actually managed to finish my castle for the CCC and here it is:

Image

A rival samurai and his forces threaten the safety of the Shogun's daughters at a remote mountain lodge.

I know the idea of the wooden fortress category was to get away from stone (which I think I have, really) but I could't bring myself to compromise on the presentation and I hope the snow helps to distract from the plinth (I'm calling it a plinth - it's not really a plinth, but it sounds better rules-wise... :tasty: )

Anyway, thanks for looking!

Lovely colors! Very Wintery
I i also like how the snow is piled by the wind using those white plates.

The irregular base adds a ton to this scene. The snow is also a great effect.
