Death of the Duke

Post by GillesGaer »

Dear friends

Here's my new MOC: the death of the Duke.

Image

I decided to make something somewhat smaller than my church, in order to build it fast and spend some times on the details. At the end of the day, it still took me six months to make (I'm indeed a slow builder). The main building is inspired by the Hotel de Sens in Paris. The inspiration for the backstory I guess is easy enough to figure out ;-).

Cheers

Great moc, I like the details of the buildings a lot. The story is sad but very true to those times. Don`t wander in dark alleys.
But great job.

Hello- I have to tell you that your creation is simply beautiful. I found all the details truly inspirational! I love how you did the round turrets with the windows. I also loved the bedroom and all the details. I have to go try them out now myself :) truly Inspirational!!

"Dark Medieval Times" I would say :D . It's a nice troop as assassins. I totally love your building, that makes me think about architecture in Belgium of the 15th century (which was a possession of duchy of Burgundy). If I wanted to build a diorama of a street of that period, your work would definitely inspire me. Just lovely work.
