Gurusql: that really is a big ranges of colors.
Hayden: yes Loreos is what I am joining. you will se when the introduction is up :), but it is Moc that is on grassland plains near lenfald forests so the grey brick would work fine :D

Why not go on the boarder lands? Best of both worlds.
Also when will the sign up thread be up?

Why are people building and uploading already?

Seems kind of unfair/confusing/distracting for all the people who are interested in the project but haven't actually signed up yet.

I agree I don't think the builds that have been posted before the member has signed up are going to count for faction and personal points

Yeah they don't count for anything. Mostly it's just Mark drumming up interest in the project. Not "official" LCC builds yet. He's not even an official member of Loreos yet, lol. He's bringing in quite a bit of traffic from Flickr though, so I think it's a good thing.

Its how I got interested, but I think it's worth posting your to be armies so you can get feed back, for they will be used often.

Yeah, I'm just trying to get some more interest. I don't think builds done before the signup thread should count for points. :)

No, they shouldn't, but we should be allowed to enter them.

Oh, okay. I get it. Mark is drumming up interest and getting traffic from flickr. Excellent. I was slightly worried that everyone will have picked factions and I will get told I'm going to have to go build rock buildings up north because all the Loreesi slots had been taken up already... Are there limits of how many people can be in a faction? And how will you determine it? First come, first serve?

there may be a limit depending on if one faction has way more members than the others but I don't think there will one when we start. if there is a limit it will go something along the lines of 10 per faction then once that is filled 20,30, ext, ext. yes, it will be first come first serve but a few of the members that have been with it from the beginning will get precedence(mencot, RichardAM and shmails to name a few)

FAQ UPDATED:
I already signed up; can I create a new character?
Can my existing character change faction?
Can I give my character a title?
Do I have to finish the character introduction challenge?

I think it is good that some have made and posted mocs and armies already like Mark because that showsta how eager and excited one is for this project. Should they count as official point makers No. (Altough Marks mocs standsout, especially the last one, amazing)
Wobnam that sounds good

Me too, it just confused me about when the project actually began and i'm sure a few of the lurkers will have also experienced this. I think it's great seeing these early builds because they do hype and help to visualise how the factions might look, but at the sametime I think they should maybe be made clearer that they are just for show, for teasing the project as a whole.

As great as they are, i'd be disappointed if they were points-counted.

Quoting from the FAQ
Wobnam wrote: DO I HAVE TO FINISH THE CHARACTER INTRODUCTION CHALLENGE?
Yes, the CIC is obligatory - you are not officially a part of LCC and not eligible for points until you have finished the CIC.
Does this mean that we could wait to see results of the lore challenge, sign-up, and in the time it takes to build the introduction challenge be told that our faction is closed? :twitch: Is the intent for this to be a race? Or will signing up mean that you have some period of time that you are on probation until you complete your CIC and just cannot do any of the other builds. I am just trying to make sure my expectations are correct.
