I'm not sure if I'm now an official outlaw, but I hope I am. ^^
So, I really liked the idea for LC13, but there was one big problem: I have no more bricks. I used most of them for my village called Greenisle and it isn't completed yet. That's the reason for THIS. It's not very good work, just a black wall, a green plate and some figures, but I wasn't able to do something better. One last question before showing the (reeeeeeally great :°) picture: There should be an outlaw banner in the MOC. I used the shields of my character and the Knight's Kingdoms scorpions as those banners, but I'm not sure about that. Are those things outlaw banners or do I have to use these things?

LC XIII Entry:

You're mine!
Tarth gets back two slaves who escaped.

Used figures:
Tarth van Greenisle - military leader of Greenisle and a faithful servant of her majesty (AND my character, btw)
Fiston - Tarth's lieutnant
Gary - one of the Greenisle's soldiers
Dan - one of the slaves
Marius - Dan's younger brother, the second slave
Screamy - a scared Lenfel

I'm not able to help you on the banner question, but I'm pretty sure it can't be a shield. I'll wait and see what Zach says though.

But nice MOC, for your limited amount of pieces! I'm pretty sure you're an official Outlaw, you've posted your character in the signup, as I saw, so you're good I think! :D

You are officially an Outlaw! Welcome to our ranks!

They don't have to be just like those examples. They can be brick built flags. As you've used mostly black, and a sigil which is usually reserved for Outlaws, I'll let it pass. :)

Mage's guild -- A2 "Your mage at his place of training"

Drakk's Lair

Image

Several years had passed since Drakk had decided to find a new purpose for his life. After several adventures of attempting to find himself, he decided to dive headlong into the study of magic. No longer relying purely on his rage to fuel his casting, he took to gathering and studying ancient spellbooks and scrolls to further his understanding and power. Through this study, he became a much more powerful sorcerer, and was just beginning to understand the source of the magic: his draconic blood. As the goblins could attest, this gave him command of fire, but as he learned he realized this was just the beginning to his magic. He had much more to learn.

As Drakk grew in power, he went on countless adventures throughout the magical isles, testing his strength and magic. As a result accumulated many powerful artifacts and treasure, for which he possessed a thirst that was never quenched. Embracing his heritage, Drakk created a lair in a remote cave where he could display his trophies of his adventures, his ever growing hoard, and study magic in peaceful solitude.

That's an awesome build Drakk! Looks like your character has required a very large amount of loot. What's he planning on spending it on? :eyebrows:

Thanks a lot Schmidt! Really appreciate that. Well Drakk is more of a hoarder, its genetic in his case :tasty: Some of it might go to the founding of a citystate in the badlands, but that is just a dream for now. In the meantime, here is another mage guild entry!

Outlaws -- Mage's Guild A3 - "Your Mage succeeding at a magic feat!"
Drakk's First Summoning

Fire magic came easily to Drakk. Tied to his emotions, he could unleash an immense inferno if he was angry. The other schools of magic were more difficult. He needed to memorize incantations, gestures, and intricate rituals. Despite these obstacles, Drakk devoted himself to mastering all of them (but oh how he hated ice magic).

After acquiring a particularly wicked grimoire devoted to the school of summoning, he decided to focus his efforts on the tome. Its pages contained numerous spells of conjuration that could summon a variety of planar creatures; from avenging angelic beings to twisted demonic soldiers. One page detailed how to summon a shadow demon and bend it to one’s will. A potent spy, the demon is able to travel vast distances at the blink of an eye and is nearly invisible when it keeps to the dark. Because a shadow demon is not very powerful, they are useful for novice summoners. “Well I must begin somewhere,” Drakk thought to himself. “Besides I am curious what the neighbors are up to.” Drakk sent for some initiates of the Order of the Shadow Flame to prepare his ritual site, and left his lair with an excited air of confidence.

Image

The torches flared as he began the incantation. As Drakk’s voice rose in volume as he spoke the final words, a figure began to materialize hovering above the altar. Tendrils of dark energy wisped around its form as it came into existence. The shadows cast by the dancing flames of the torches seemed to gravitate towards the figure now kneeling on the altar. In an echoing whisper, the demon spoke, “Master….what do wish of me?” Drakk grinned as he searched for an appropriate response...

Had a lot of free time this week, so 2 mage guild entries!! 8) On this one I tried to do as many smooth edges as possible, I don't know if that took away from the "ruin" feel I was going for or not. What do you guys think?

College of Magic

Image

Located in the Magic isles, perched on a massive cliff, the College of Magic is place devoted entirely to knowledge of the arcane. Magic users from across Roawia trek to the fortress, eager to learn more about the forbidden craft. The great library forms its the biggest tower, and houses the most esteemed students and faculty, while two smaller (yet still awe inspiring) towers house the rest of the college denizens. Smaller buildings devoted to each of the schools of magic litter the courtyard of the citadel, along with magical workshops where potions and other magical items are created. A grand courtyard committed to magical sparring overlooks the rough eastern ocean.

Built for LCC Outlaws! I was inspired to do some micro building on the chance that it might be included on the outlaw background coverpage. This is my first attempt at Microscale, so critiques are very welcome!

Important Announcement!

Well the time has come. Votes for the new FO have been collected and counted. The people have spoken, and Schmidt has won the seat of FO! I have confidence in his ability to lead us, and guide us as a faction.

On a semi-important note, I've divided the work up of updating the scores in the easiest way possible, so they should be updated in full by next week (Hopefully :P )

But my congratulations goes out to Schmidt!

I was preparing my Outlaw army introduction, and then you drop this news on me. Sigh.

I'm kidding . . . mostly. Congratulations, Schmidt. :D

It's no secret you definitely gave this faction a massive surge of energy with your arrival, so here's to that momentum continuing under your leadership. Just don't try to push the Queen on everyone, now.

Hey Bronx,

Our newest LC is going to make every builder pledge their allegiance to the Queen on bended knee, or have them being beheaded!

I jest. The thing that makes our faction so awesome, is the freedom to do what when we want, when we want it, without following anyone if we so chose. And nothing about that is going to change.

I don't care who's licks the Queen's boot and who doesn't, we're going to (keep) being the greatest faction in Roawia!
